The Calgary Police Service offers a free Agent Status Program that lets commercial property owners authorize CPS to act on their behalf under the Alberta Trespass to Premises Act. By signing up and displaying the provided sticker, businesses give police the ability to engage or remove trespassers on their property even when the owner or staff aren’t available. This can help reduce unwanted behaviour and improve safety around your location. Participation lasts three years and does not replace the need to report incidents or call police when required.
